[PlayRaw] View from Fort Carré in France

I am on a holiday trip on the Côte d’Azur. Today (just before France won the World Cup) I took pictures from Fort Carré in Antibes. I think one of them would work well as a PlayRaw. It is a view of Europe’s largest marina in Antibes. The big yacht in the photo (with helicopter) is the “Katara” from Qatar, the twenty largest yacht in the world. In the background you can see the old town of Antibes and Cap Antibes.
I’m curious what you’ll make of it :-).

I want the cave to make a frame to diverge viewer attention to outside so I make it darker.

@Thomas_Do Hope you enjoyed your vacation! Nice view to boot. Too bad the details of the marina and beyond aren’t as high in optical resolution as we would have liked it to be.

Yes, very nice here. I also would have liked a better resolution. But there are certain limitations …
But a ten inch print should be okay.

…a quick adlib hack with RawTherapee and Gimp, on a linux box.

This image stands on its own. My first take will leave it pretty much as is. When I have the time, I might consider doing something more.

1. RawTherapee → the @heckflosse method. :slight_smile:
2. gmic → local contrast → resize → sharpen → zoom 100% to enjoy!
