please upload the rc to debian

Hi all,

The RC looks amazing, thank you so much for all the work that has gone into this milestone release.

The debian package is lagging behind just a little bit (beta2), can it please be updated to the latest RC? Debian -- Details of package siril in sid :pray:

Thank you!! Looks like you’ve done everything you can. I’ve eagerly awaited the release for a year, I can wait another week or so :slight_smile:

Sadly this still seems stuck with Debian and the final releases of 1.4.x aren’t available yet.

Yes. Mainly because of a meson bug in the debian testing repositories.
However, I think it could have been fixed.

I’ve updated the debian package to 1.4.2.

I hope the debian team will upload it soon.

Debian package has been updated in debian unstable. In 5 days it should be updated in debian testing.

thank you so much for this! It also renders much more nicely than the AppImage I tried earlier (I raised a bug report about that over on gitlab that was closed because nobody could reproduce it except me).
