Made this as part of a backdrop for political cartoon that no longer became timely. I guess part of the problem was that I was too much of a perfectionist to get it out in time, as seen here. I then realized I had a systematic bias for picking tones on the muted side, so I added some wavelets and contrast in Rawtherapee.
