Posing Girl (original & edited)

Hi all,

edited this photograph, which i downloaded from Stockvault, a few years ago in Gimp.

posing_girl_2x.

Left is the original photo, right my modification. What do you think?

Testing changing the original image, I think you were going for a reminiscent of Vampire look. I do like your edit. I don’t see anything wrong with it or anything to critique maybe besides the sharp areas above the forehead, but that could be intentional.

As the original photo isn’t yours and it’s a free stock image, I will post my edit:

Done in Krita 5.2.0.

Hi,

thanks for your comment. I like your version as well. It’s way more natural than the original photo. Btw, I do have Krita installed, but I haven’t used it, so far.

Technically interesting what you have done, but for me a demonstration that you can not believe a photograph. Who is the girl on the right, certainly not the girl on the left. I say all this with a friendly smile and hope it is taken that way.

I think it looks really cool — I really like it, to be honest. Good skills, @Claus_Cyrny! In particular, the eyes and lips are captivating!

I like the vintage look of the latter version. How did you accomplish that?
