Problem with DT 5.0.1 installation

Hi!
I did DT 5.0.1 clean install on my Win 11 Pro PC. Now darktable-log.txt appears in
C:\Users<username>\Documents\Darktable\ folder.
There exits C:\Users<username>\AppData\Local\darktable\ folder but it’s empty - no config, no database. Running darktable.exe trough command promt results this log:

There is darktable photo workflow software process seen in Task Manager (0% CPU, 10.0MB Memory, 0MB/s Disk, 0MBps Network), no GUI of course.
Uninstall and repeated install results the same situation.
What gone wrong with my installation?
What can be done to get DT working?

Do you have antivirus running? The log says pretty much nothing.

Thank you for a reply. Full story around anti… SW is somewhat difficult.
I had perfectly functioning DT 4.8.1 on my PC. Then at one time I installed MalwareBytes anti-malware SW. Sometime later I found out, that my DT installation doesn’t wok anymore. Then I decided to wipe old DT out and install newer version - 5.0.1.
If this didn’t work, I uninstalled MalwareBytes SW and also DT. Then I installed DT 5.0.1. again, then replaced it with DT 4.8.1 and replaced this with DT 5.0.1 - all without success.
All the time, also at time DT 4.8.1 was perfectly running, I had of course Microsoft Antivirus installed - this is natural part of Win intall.

Sorry, I’m not quite sure what to make of your response. On WIndows, sometimes Windows Defender or other antivirus mistakes darktable for a virus and blocks it.

You can either (1) turn off those antivirus temporarily and see if darktable will install and run and/or (2) make an exception for darktable in the antivirus software.
