For some reason, the informational popup is no longer displayed on mouse hover. This is true for both lighttable and darkroom views. All other aspects of the program appear to be working normally. Don’t remember when this started - definitely worked in DT 2.6. Not working in DT 3.2, 3.4, or 3.6. Tool tips on mouse hover working in other programs (e.g., LibreOffice).
Any hints would be very much appreciated, as this is driving me batty!
Running Windows 10.
There’s a shortcut to toggle tooltips. I think it’s Shift+T (or ctrl+T or something). You could try that.
Yes, but it only seems to affect info displayed for the lighttable images and the darktable filmstrip. Nothing else.
Thank you, thank you. This was it. I think I had a true idiot moment - couldn’t find that toggle in the manual.
I’m not sure it’s explicitly mentioned in the manual. If we documented all of the shortcuts we’d be there forever (especially in darktable 3.8 which will be shortcut-tastic)
Use The h key next time…it lists the most common ones…
