Problems with AI Masking

Hello,
I’ve been working with darktable for some years now and often use masking. Just by accident, I found out that darktable now offers KI based masking models, and I was happy about that.
However, I don’t succeed in loading them into my darktable version. Why?
The facts:
NVidia GeForce GTX 1650
Windows 11
Darktable 5.6.0
What works:
denoise and segnext vitb-sax2 and more
What doesn’t work:
mask sam2.1 small or tiny
All the files are downloaded and present in the right directories. However, when calling settings and AI, they are shown as non-loaded. What is missing or wrong?

I am no expert so I might be barking up the wrong tree here. Maybe check your AI preferences have the models enabled. This is my settings and the AI masking works great.

Thank you so much. My thinking seemed to be caught in a cage. I didn’t realize that in masking, there is always just one option open (which of course makes sense). Now it’s clear and working.
