Processing images from an iPhone

I have used Siril for some years using a Canon DSLR
Would it be possible to process images from an iPhone? Formats could be .TIF, .JPG, .DNG or .HEIC
However there would not be darks, bias or flats.

Have you tried? It’s supposed to be possible, I doubt anybody tried it because of the low dynamic and image quality.

I havn’t tried. I would piggy back the iPhone on my normal rig but am not sure how to process in Siril without Darks, Biases and Flats. They will be noisy but I could take a lot and stack them.

To my surprise there’s a script called “OSC_Preprocessing_WithoutDBF” which sounds like it should work. I will be trying this out aftre my next session.
