Purple Stripe in Images

I have noticed with dt 4.0 that some (most) of my .CR3 thumbnails in both Lightroom and Darkroom have a broad purple stripe down the middle - one third colour, one third purple monotone, one third colour. It doesn’t translate into the exported images, but makes processing rather tricky. Once I edit the image the stripe usually goes away.
Has anyone else noticed this? Is there a fix?
I am running Windows 10, latest drivers

If you have OpenCL enabled, try disabling it.

How much RAM do you have in your system?

This looks like some tiling issue. Or a decoder problem.

Interesting, disabling OpenCL seems to have worked. DT also seems to work faster!
I have 16GB RAM and a nVidia graphics card

Which graphics card is important. But if its faster without openCL, then just leave it disabled.

I am very interested in your exact system specs, graphics ram, type of card, used driver. I can’t remember any nvidia related issue like this and would like to get into this.

Normally, a properly set up NVidia card makes darktable 5-10x faster than using just the CPU. What card is that, how much memory does the card have, what OS and driver version do you use?
