Question: How to know if a picture has been tagged on the Map

In the lighttable view, is there a way of knowing if a picture has been geo-tagged in the Map section?

In the collections module, you can sort by geotagged and not geotagged.

Yes, it works, but there is no automatic indication on the thumbnail (unlike say Digikam). This is a bit of a workaround. It would be a good add-on to the functionality of the lighttable screen. Would you agree?

I geotag pretty much everything and I do it right after import, so it wouldn’t do me much good. It’d only clutter things up.

Don’t let that stop you from making a feature request on github tho.

The image information module should display the longitude and latitude. You might be able to display those in the thumbnail string overlay.

Maybe there is a CSS command, which I would like to know, that can do the trick.

One of the variables that can be added to the information line is GPS data so that might be useful to you (GPS.LOCATION) . Hmm sometimes I need to replace the period with an underscore (GPS_LOCATION).
