Another question - I have practice data from a gentleman named Wei-Hao Wang. He runs very complicated observing playlist (at least to my simple eyes), but I learn a lot. I have a few questions:
- The data covers data at each band at 2 and 12 seconds and 1 and 2 minutes (?). All other parameters being equal, can I combine these sets of data all taken on the same night.
- I have immense probles when I include his dark files. The data files are at 12 sec and 1 minutes only. I am currently working with the 12 sec. data and I get this message “.21:46:02: After dark subtraction, the image contains many negative pixels (47%),” calibration frames are probably incorrect". I don’t know how to handle this.
- How do you cull (is that the right term) flats, darks, and biases other than visual inspection.
- Any and all help greatly appreciated.
