Because you can invoke Copilot on the Github user interface (e.g. to explain a file). It’s available to everyone, without a subscription, for free.
A thought comes to mind (but I haven’t thought hard yet!): how will this affect the small browsers (e.g., Vivaldi, WaterFox, LibreWolf, …)?
