I just use my LCD at full blast, it works fine  But I have the habit of leaving the camera off as soon as I finish taking the photo

I didn’t really mean the battery consumption, but rather the perceived brightness of the scene – I often find my photos more underexposed then I intended them to be.

However, that strangely happens even in sunny scenes, where I’d expect myself to do the opposite – get overexposed shots because I thought that they’re not bright enough because of low LCD brightness… but that’s not the case. I guess I gotta use the histogram more (I literally always have it on)

So I was editing photos I took on a recent birthday party and I felt that something is off… what could it be? Why am I struggling so much suddenly? Maybe it’s the challenging interior lighting…

Nope.

I had both AgX and Sigmoid enabled at the same time.
I’ve switched to scene-refered (AgX) as the default, but when I reset the history stack both modules kept popping up. Perhaps a bug in Darktable?

Wrong again. I just forgot to disable my automatically applied Sigmoid preset… (not the first time it happened to me, same with Filmic → Sigmoid)

Take care everyone :upside_down_face:
