RawPedia ready for edits and community involvement

Hey all, sorry for the delay, life got pretty busy there for a while.

I think that RawPedia is in a state where people can start working on the content again, and I certainly don’t want to hold anyone back from writing docs for the upcoming 5.12 release

You can find the repo here: GitHub - RawTherapee/RawPedia: RawTherapee Documentation

There are some instructions on getting started in the README.md, please open an issue on github if you have an issue getting the hugo preview server running.

Everything is written in markdown now.

I’d advise people to still concentrate on the content itself:

  • there are still quite a few broken links that need to be fixed
  • I’m not sure all the images are there/referenced correctly. Broken images should be fixed
  • some of the folders don’t make sense, some topics need to be moved around
  • not sure what to do yet with translated content and content that originally authored in languages other than English.
  • there are some typos in folders/file names that should be fixed.
  • I’m sure some of the content doesn’t look good

There are no menus yet, but we should decide what menu structure is needed before we try and implement anything. Most of the menus will be made by adding metadata to the markdown files themselves.

The design is very bare; this is ok, I’ll start to work up a design that uses bits from rawtherapee.com
