Hi all,

I have added the “thor” ppa and issued an “apt-get install rawtherapee unstable” but i not able to get the Rawtherapee from the “thor” ppa , maybe rawtherappe 5.1 is not available at “thor” ?

Able to use 'buntu ppa?

This one https://launchpad.net/~dhor/+archive/ubuntu/myway has up-to-date versions

but you also need up-to-date linux 'buntu or derivative

Hi Morgan,

if you navigate to http://rawtherapee.com/downloads and choose “all linux builds” you get no results :frowning:

That’s it !! thank you for you help

I am running Linux Mint, version 17.3 codename rosa which is based on ubuntu trusty. The “dhor” PPA does not deliver rawtherapee for ubuntu trusty :frowning:

Building for a release as old as trusty is tricky, I don’t think the proper gtk versions are present. If you need the latest rawthraapee, you’ll need to upgrade to Mint 18.

Click on Ubuntu.

Then you are stuck with RawTherapee 5.0-r1 because Mint 17.3 only ships GTK+ 3.10 which is too old. Update to a newer distribution.

Thank you, i’ll dedicate some time to upgrade my system

You are right, i’m going to get some time to upgrade my distribution

Consider changing distributions, as Mint 18.1, the latest version, is still behind in all the programs it supports, so you’d go through all the trouble of upgrading and still end up with old stuff.
