If I send an image from RawTherapee to a graphics program using the image editor function, the graphics program’s GUI is only displayed in English. The language settings (German) is ignored. The error occurs with Krita, Gimp and Gwenview.
Images sent from other programs (e.g. DigiKam) to Krita, Gimp or Gwenview have no effect on the language of the GUI.
Krita also asks every time(!) what it should do with the embedded PSD data…
That’s something you can file a bug report for. Same for RawTherapee.
Hello Jan & welcome. I confirm your observation, never noticed that before. Try to open your Gimp first (should be German), then send a photo from RT to Gimp. Should be German as well.
Yes it works. But only with Gimp and Krita. It doesn’t work with GwenView, the GUI remains in English.
If I add the --nosplash parameter to the Krita image editor, no icon is visible anymore and I can no longer see which editor I select. Btw, when are the cache files deleted?
