I downloaded the zip file this morning and unpacked it, and Windows immediately intercepted what it said was a virus:

It’s most likely a false positive from windows. Works fine here.

Small bug, when setting amount to zero in a sharpening spot, the image turns black. Also it would be great to have the amount slider in all modes and not only the advanced one.

Also the gamma slider is buggy in inverse mode.

@fasteddie Interesting. I usually only see false positives from third party anti-malware programs. It should be ok to run since you downloaded from one of the links I posted.

@jonathanBieler Thanks for reporting these problems! I created issues for them (#7383 and #7384). They also affect 5.11 and maybe even earlier. They are not critical, but if we find a fix, we’ll try to include it in 5.12.

Windows apparently doesn’t like sophisticated photo processing programs. Back in February it made false reports of a Trojan in several releases of Ansel.

I’ve not been doing any specific testing as such, but I’ve been exclusively using RC2, now (and before that RC1), since it became available.

I guess you could just call me impatient, but I’ve certainly put it through it’s paces, and I’m pleased to say I’ve not encountered any issues as yet.

Eagerly awaiting the official release. :hatching_chick:
