Rawtherapee Film Negative processing

I’m putting together a slide show of historical negatives to be shown Feb 20, 2020.

I’m shooting the original negatives and transparencies with a Nikon D850 with a Nikkor 60mm f2.8 G micro lens, processing the raw files in RawTherapee and touching up dirt and scratches in Gimp. Also using Hugin to align my high res scans with photos from the original magazine articles to have a slow fade transition from the magazine to the high res scan.
RawTherapee’s Film Negative tool has been a wonderful time saver in processing the D850’s raw files of negatives.
Also, thanks to The Camera Store in Calgary for lending me a D850 for this project.
