RawTherapee v5.5 released with Haze Removal and more

It is very impressive that unlike what most people write, the release notes of RT 5.5 lists new cameras from Nikon as Z 6 and Z 7 (instead of Z6 and Z7). I know it is totally inconsequential in the global view of things but then what is?:wink:

Most people in your bubble?

Even the DP REVIEW says Z6 and Z7

DPReview also capitalizes the first letter of the adjective “raw”.

The camera model has a space in the name, and people who don’t add it are simply wrong. Not that it matters.

Has the bug that I found been fixed? You know, the huge JPEG thing. I think someone has been working on it. Have not had the change to try it yet but maybe I will today. I am using the Porableapps-Version on Windows. Maybe I will download the appimage later today for Kubuntu.

If you allude to

then I hope so.

I have run rc1 and rc2 with success. But the release 5.5 on Linux gives me: “The default profile for raw photos could not be found or is not set. Please check your profiles’ directory, it may be missing or damaged. “${G}/Auto-Matched-Curve - ISO Low” will be used instead”.

Bundled profiles only seem to contain Non-raw->Brighten, various Pixel Shift, Pop (4), and 4 auto matched and 3 standard film curves.

Equilibrated for example is missing.

Is this a problem with my system? I have downloaded the Linux appimage.

@Sympa delete your options file.

Ah yes, I now notice the cleanup in the bundled profiles as mentioned by @ff2000.
Makes a lot of sense from a usability perspective now that I think of it. Just wasn’t aware.
Thanks for the great release!
