Recommended reading on colour grading?

Good morning,

After exploring Spektrafilm/Vkdts Filmsim I feel like I want to take some more creative liberties in colour grading my photos. To infuse my photos with more mood of the moment.

Currently I am wiggling my way around darktables channel mixer, RGB primaries and other modules and try to see what sticks.

I watched Joanna Kustras video lecture and feel like I learned a lot of basics but struggle to apply these things to my photography.

I’d like to give my neurocortex some more context to consciously understand and plan what I am actually doing.

Do you guys have some recommendations on what to read on the topic? Online or (preferably) paperbound?
