recovering corrupted CR3

This IMG_0073.CR3.zip|CR3 raw image (20.7 MB) is corrupted.

Darktable says “failed to read camera white balance information from ‘IMG_0073.CR3’!”

Will I be able to recover it?

Nope, this file contains damaged CMT1-4 metadata boxes. The only chance to recover it is by transferring the MDAT image section manually to another similiar photo. But this is likely to fail and I assume the image data itself is corrupted, too.

You might be able to recover the the data intact. It is a long shot , there are numerous tools to do this with. How important is the file?
