I have the problem that the thumbnails are not generated and saved on importing.
With the command refresh they are only generated, when the album does not contains a sub-folder / album. Same problem with the maintenance tool: the selection All albums does not work if they contain subfolders. Only when i selcect every lowest folder by hand, the thumbnails are rebuild. Does anyone know the problem or have I missed an option in the settings? I run digikam 7.8.0 on Ubuntu 22.04.1 and Windows 11.
