I have put the files in the plugins folder, but it will not show up in the filters. Please help me…
Before condemning the resynthesizer version, do a couple of quick checks.
In the filters menu there should be a (1) a python-fu entry, needed for those heal plugins and (2) in the Map sub-menu resynthesizer.exe should show. Looks like you do not have a working python installation needed for the “heal” plugins.
Not often you need a complete Gimp re-installation. Use the customise option, otherwise you get what you already have and waste your time.
Make sure the python-fu scripting option is checked.
Then back to the plug-in(s)
No resythesizer in Map ? It is probably the resynthesizer version, shows in your screenshot as 20 kB and date 2011. Possibly an ancient 32 bit version from GitHub (Archive). I wonder how many 32 bit installations are still around, It should work but…
Replace it with one from here: Resynthisizer Heal Selection Runtime Error
Use the Partha version, it is 64 bit, larger file size. Here in a Win10 / Gimp 2.10.34 checked and working.
The zip contains the essentials, the two executables and the heal-selection / transparency python plugins. Use those, slight updates. If you want the others, you already have them.
I have gotten it working with your links. Thank you!!!
