Anybody notice that the retouch function does not appear to be working on the git latest revision.
By the way, I am seeing no updates to the git version for some time.

It works just fine for me. 4.7.0~git909.caa59229
Could be that you have set your shape opacity to 0%? Try Ctrl+scrolling up before you place your retouch shape.
You are right … mask opacity was set down … I have no idea why
