Version 0.9.33
Running on Pop_Os (ubuntu based)
I have a second drive specifically for storing photos. RBD sometimes will not list this as a destination. The drive is mounted, and I can access it, but it does not show on the list of possible destinations, but if I restart RPD (sometimes several re-starts) it will finally show it and I can then download images.
Any idea what might be going on (including operator error!)

It is impossible to say without seeing the log files. What version of Ubuntu is your install of Pop!_OS based on?
22.04 LTS with all updates so far.
Install 0.9.38 from the PPA and try to recreate it. If you can recreate it, open a bug report using the function in the main menu, following the instructions to upload the log files. Without the log files It will not be fixed.
