RT 5.7 Error while saving image

I’m receiving a File saving error while saving file in Windows RT 5.7. No problems with saving the file in RT 5.6.

What version of windows? What does the error message say? We are going to need way more information.

Windows 10 64 bit.

When saving the image from within the editor, it appears to process most of the way, but fails to save the file. Before it finishes processing, a RT dialog box pops up that says: “File saving error” with the path and the newfile name listed. The jpg settings I tried are jpeg quality = 100, Subsampling = Best quality.

I tried a CR2 file and existing jpg file (with no edits) and also tried saving as jpg and tif, but I receive the same error. I also tried removing RT 5.7 and reinstalling a recent download. I also have version 5.6 installed which does not have the error.

Could you please supply a screen dump of
a) the save dialog box?
b) file saving error box?

@rtu2000 is your 5.7 version downloaded from RawTherapee - Downloads ?

I downloaded it from the link on the home page. RawTherapee_5.7_WinVista_64.zip

You may have activated Windows folder protection against ramsonware and do not have RT 5.7 write permission. Check it.
