RT ICC profile creator -- how do you use it?

Hi all!

I know what Rawpedia says, but
is there any tutorial &c on how to use/benefit from
the ICC profile creator within Rawtherapee?

What have you done with it?

Have fun!

Well, I have found that sometimes getting the generated profiles into a location where they are useful is difficult - hence Input/output color profile support has a clunky UI · Issue #6644 · Beep6581/RawTherapee · GitHub and iccstore: Allow loading profiles from user-writable configuration directory by Entropy512 · Pull Request #6645 · Beep6581/RawTherapee · GitHub

The most common use case I’ve found is for generating an output profile that exports linear data - sRGB TRC + high-bitdepth TIFF is kinda unusual (and in fact I think hugin will choke on it because hugin appears to ignore ICC for floating point inputs and assume/force linear, or at least I suspect that’s why my last attempt to use hugin to stitch floating point TIFFs from RT failed…)

Another use case is linear + rec2020, which I then feed to ffmpeg’s zscale filter to make a still image into an HLG video clip that displays in HDR mode on my Visio P65.
