On my last trip to Göttingen I found this bar and thought the image might be a nice play raw. It’s a little noisy because the camera settings were wrong but I like it anyway.

I veer towards a softer look.

I’ve gotten away from sharpening everything so much and like a softer look also. Darktable accommodates!
