Seestar Script on Mac OS

Hi.

Am using Siril 1.2.6 (Build 12871) on Intel based Macbook Pro (OS : Sonoma 14.4.1) and have downloaded the Seestar script for processing of images

Having followed the steps, the Seestar script is not getting activated or to be seen on the “Scripts” Tab

Kindly let me know if this script is enabled for Mac OS version

The script works the same on all platforms.
That means you missed something in the documentation. Probably the step where you say Siril where the script is.

Have you looked that the script is stored in the right location and that you restarted siril after saving the script? It works fine here.

Mine are in:

/Users/username/siril/scripts

Same problem here, Apalsikar.
Let me know if you have solved the problem.

Yes. The problem got resolved. As suggested by @kichererbse , the issue was the right directory of storing the script. I had downloaded the Seestar script in a different folder and given the path in the Preferences. However Siril requires the script to be exactly in the same folder where the scripts are originally stored. The issue is now resolved. Thanks everyone for the help !

Absolutely not. But if they are in other places you need to tell Siril where they are. Everything is explained on the documentation though.

Siril - FAQ has an explanation and link to the doc too
