I am not a graphic artist by any means but enjoy using gimp to alter images used for my company logos and design images. I have recently started using gimp on a MacBook rather than a PC like I have in the past and I am having issues figuring out some of the functionality now. My latest issue is I can’t seem to get the quick toggle mask function to show any selection when I toggle the screen to red an use the brush tool to select areas. I don’t see any of the marching ants surrounding the areas I am tryin to select after I toggle back, but not sure what I am doing wrong. Any suggestions are appreciated?
I use linux, but remember when this was an issue
As far as I know it was fixed, but as a reminder is View → Show selection enabled.
