Set images to open in "Fit Image in Window" view ???

Is there some way that I can set GIMP such that images open in “Fit Image in Window” view, instead of me having to go into View > Zoom > Fit Image in Window ?

Also, is there a “Fit Image in Window” button anywhere in the main window; if there isn’t, there needs to be.

Ctrl + Shift + J, but all the hotkeys are changeable.

Thanks; can I set it up for a single key instead of the combination of three?

Edit->Keyboard Shortcuts

search for “Fit Image in Window”

and I assume I will always be able to revert back to default ?

Edit->Preferences->Interface->“Reset Keyboard Shortcuts to Default”

Or you could just change it back.
