Hello all
I’m new to using Siril (and shooting DSOs to be honest), but after a few software hiccups I was able to get through thanks to help in this forum I have run two successful tests and am ready to keep going.
I use a modified 600D with a clip-in halpha filter but would also like to use an Oiii filter as well. I assume that I would shoot with one, then swap and shoot with the other, but I’m neither sure 1) if that’s possible/correct nor 2) what to do afterwards if it is.
I have been watching videos about using Sirilic to stack multi-night-sessions and see in the new project pop-up that you can choose from different cameras and different filters, so I assume that I can use this to stack images taken with two different filters:
Can anyone give me any clue as to whether I this is how I would do I want to do and, if so, is the below the way I would set it up (again, using a DSLR and two filters)?
I thought Light (for the light frames), the Halpha and Oiii boxes for the two filters and DSLR because that’s what I’m using.
Sorry…I know this is probably a super noob question although since I’m a super noob maybe I should be be so sorry lol .
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help…any advice would be appreciated!
