Second, and last  I have backlight fatigue now, I feel like I am always overcooking the image… Who knew Scotland could be so sunny

Gone for a dark and moody look this time.

I created four exposures in Filmulator (0 to +4 EV). Blended with Enfuse then into GIMP 2.10.38 and tweaked with my equal luminosity plug-in.
Done on my tiny laptop, so no idea what it will look like in the real world!

Something more presentable than my previous one. Might still have too much haloing…
Hard to get the sense of scale here. I assume the mountains are 1km or more away from the camera, across that sea of grass?

I was at the dot, more or less. I believe the peaks are around 1km high

I like what you did with the mountains and foreground, but you lost the sky and clouds.

The clouds are not the focus of the picture for me.

That is apparently in Scotland.

Yeah, Isle of Skye. Funnily enough, I have photos of that mountain range from three different vantage points, it is that prevalent in the landscape:

These are on three different days, as you can see we must’ve “lucked out” on the sun… Personally I would’ve preferred some worse weather, makes for better pictures…

Must have been too hot in Germany… :joy:

Despite the weather… those are beautiful!
