My four year old daughter started confiscating my camera during travels to take photos. So now we take an old Panasonic travel zoom for her.
I could not find a camera strap short enough to hang around her neck (70-90cm would be nice, preferably adjustable). Are there any brands that make anything like this?
My Peak Design Slide Lite claims Max length ,145 cm (57") and Min length 99 cm (39"), but I just adjusted it to about 85 cm, not counting anchors, which would make it about 90 cm with the anchors.
Unfortunately, that’s too long. The ideal length is around 70cm.
But thinking about this, I realized that safety is important too, as the strap can get tangled and should release under load.
I will probably put together something from paracord with a break-away knot and test it.
