Short cut for "select new line", ...

Christmas is coming, and I already have my wishes in RT to speed things up:
(I do weddings and stuff and TIME IS MONEY)

  • Shortcut for “select new line”
  • When I crop a picture to 5:4, i want the next crop to have the same format, until i change it.
  • I edit one picture and then copy the settings to all the following pictures with the same exifs. If there would a an indicator marking the all the directly following pictures with the same ISO, appature and shutter speed, it would speed up my process.

Perhaps these ideas are regarded as spongeworthy. If so… hurray

Kind regards,
Tom

Maybe donating some of your money will convince some devs to spend some of their time to do some stuff which will save you that money afterwards by speeding things up
But I wouldn’t count on that in this case…

Hi,

can you explain what this means exactly? I think I don’t understand… thanks!

There is an option to filter images in the file browser tab. Look at the right panel, the one you see in the image. You can filter by checking the parameters you want filtered. Isn’t this what you need?

Hi, thank’s for the feedback!

“Shortcut for straight line” - I have to adjust most of the pictures in terms of the horizon level. Right now I have to click on the “select a straight line”-Button. In other products like LR, there is a shortcut for activating this.

“The indicator” → I do not want to filter. Let me elaborate: I shoot 15 pictures in a row (-> same lighting conditions) in M-Mode. After the first 2 pictures I realise that the exposure is off, so I adjust my ISO settings. The third picture is still off, so I change again. Ok, later in raw therapee I correct the first image and then I copy the settings to all 15 pictures, as I do not remember the adjustment. But of course, that leads to a false exposed photo.

Instead of that indicator I have suggested it would be simpler to display ISO/SHUTTER/APPARTURE all the thumbnails in editor mode.

you mean “s”?

Oh yes! How could I overlook that? Thanks!
