Hello all,
If you move the mouse over an editing module, a short info about the respective module is automatically displayed. Is it not possible to switch this off? Unfortunately, I can’t find a way to do this and would appreciate a little help.
If you mean the tooltips, they are toggled by shift + t
.
if you use a wacom pad they will only be displayed for a millisecond when you hover over them
yes exactly tool tips was the keyword that i hadn’t thought of. thank you very much for that.
but why is there no option to deactivate this directly in the global settings?
Probably because there are to many settings already.
That would of course be a possibility. I’m not a programmer so i can’t imagine the effort involved, but i thought that if there is a button combination, a simple tick would be no problem. thanks for your answer anyway.
Adding an extra item to the settings is technically easy enough. Creating a usable settings dialog, less so. Too many buttons, tick boxes, etc. make it hard to find what you need, and can “drown” the important settings. So just adding a setting for something that’s not all that important is perhaps not really the best option.
thank you very much for the clarification. i only asked out of curiosity. thank you.
