In working with public data from other telescopes, on multi-day observations I find some dates with only one image in it. Normal scripts choke on this. I read somewhere if you make a couple of copies of that single file (you now have 3 images for that date) you can proceed. Will that work? What is the processing cost of doing it?
What do you think you will obtain by copying the same picture several times?
There’s absolutely no interest in doing that.
