I’m having some trouble with the new AMSP (Automated Multi-Session Pipeline) script in Siril.
When I try to load folders into the required input fields, I am unable to do so. Every time I try to drag a folder over, a “forbidden” or “stop” sign icon appears, and the folder isn’t accepted.
Here are a few details regarding my setup:
File Paths: There are no special characters, umlauts, or spaces in the folder names or the entire directory path.
Permissions: I have full read/write access to the directories.
Version: I am using the latest version of Siril and the AMSP script.
Has anyone else encountered this “forbidden” sign issue when trying to add folders? Am I missing a specific setting or a prerequisite for the AMSP script to recognize the input directories?
I have a similar problem. No doubt it is something simple, but I cannot identify the corrective action.
In my case I do not get any messages. The folder I am attempting to drag and drop just rubberbands back.
I ran Process Explorer to verify that Siril is not being run as Administrator. I can do normal drag and drop operations on the Desktop. I copied the working directory to another Windows 11 machine, installed Siril, got the AMSP python script and still had the same issue. I verified that I can run an other preprocesser script with the same working directory.
Yes, dropping in the defined area at the top of the Siril Wizard script window. I tried dropping at various spots in the box - no go.
The Administrator box is unchecked.
Just got off the phone with a guy I used to work with. He tinkers with PCs as a hobby. He had me look at some things in my Windows account settings and determined that there were no contributors to the problem there.
I thought to try a drag and drop op from the Siril window to my Desktop which also failed. So appears that the AMSP script is not rejecting the drop, but that there may be some sort of permission issue with Siril. Pretty well burned out on this for today. Will try again fresh tomorrow.
