SIRIL : Error with photometry

Hello!
I was processing my rush from the North America nebula (NGC 7000) on Siril (version 1.2.0-RC1, in Windows 11) until I came across an error preventing me from performing my color calibration by photometry “The astrometric resolution to failure. The image could not be aligned with the reference stars” (see attached log).

I’m on a Newton 200/800 telescope, with a Sony A7 II, 5.93 micron pixel size depending on the manufacturer. Everything is back in Siril but it don’t works.

I therefore try:
• to vary the focal length 10 mm by 10 mm
• to vary the size of the pixels
• to change the catalogs
• to take the coordinates of a star in the center (HD 199870 for example)
• to give coordinates of near objects (NGC 6997 or IC 5070)

I found that if I request the metadata of the image, I get 406.2 mm of focal length, instead of 800mm. I tried as is but still nothing.
I would like to note that I have previously carried out the entire pre-processing (by hand), that my image is still linear and that the image is not cropped.

Thanking you in advance for your kind help!
Have a good day!

Hi Elio,

you’ve taken all the necessary steps to troubleshoot… Could you pls give one last try with the portable version downloadable here (documentation for using “portable” there).
This is a pre-release of the 1.2.0 where we have changed a few things regarding the way plate-solving is handled. Could help Siril solving the image to apply the pcc then.

Otherwise, if you can share a link to your image.

Cheers,

Cecile

Hi,
Thank you very much, I will try this !

I tried with this version but I have the same issue. I did the same thing with other images but it still doesn’t work :smiling_face_with_tear:

Can you share your image then?
