Siril not not seem to be creating a result.fit

I am new to Astrophotography and am practicing with stacking images in Siril taken of the moon. The problem I am having is Siril does not appear to be creating a result.fit following running the downloaded script OSC_Processing_WithoutDBF. I have about 40 raw images that were taken and placed within the lights folder. I have created the folders Bias, Flats, and Darks as a mere formality of course they are empty. Siril runs through processing the images but at the end informs me script execution failed. Am I choosing the wrong registration because these are photo are of the moon? Please advise.

You try to align moon images with star alignment algorithm…
It fails and no results are created. This is perfectly normal.

Thanks for your reply. I was thinking that this might be the case. Is Siril the proper application to stack lunar images? This just for practice allows me to become familiar with Astrophotography and workflow development. It’s probably the easiest target. LOL. If it is not the right app to use, I will need to choose the next best thing for my area, Sirius.

Siril is not the best for planetary stacking, but he can’t do it.

correct to: “but it can do it”

Oh yes sorry.
