For better pixel rejection, you need to add a lot of subs. However, with a small data set like yours you can use percentile one. But keep in mind that it won’t remove everything. To remove everything, you need robust statistics, and therefore a lot more data.
Please, check Seti Astro solution, he started with a similar solution to yours, but now he suggests to substitute the pixels with a [0,0,0] values, but I didn’t find the reason about it.
