Most of the windows in Siril are fine but the Star Recomposition window window is a pain, particularly in Advanced mode.
It’s really cluttered, especially the dropdown boxes that kind of overlap each other and it’s a pain trying to grab the little scrollbar to go up and down every few seconds between the options when you are trying to fine tune things.
And scrolling with the mouse wheel is messy because it scrolls the window but also moves the sliders.
It would be great to have the window be resizable, like some of the other windows such as GHST window, it would make things much easier to see and navigate.
Hello.
You’’ will find here the explanation:
So it boils down to the fact that “In macOS, window resizing suffers from a major GTK bug where the mouse “passes through” the window.”?
I’m not sure that makes complete sense to me because other windows are also resizable in Siril, mainly two of the other stretch windows, Dynamic PSF window, and of course the console windows too.
But IMO even the Simple Star Recomposition window could do with being resizable as it’s fairly cramped in there with basically two versions of the GHST window side-by-side. But the Advanced mode definitely needs a tweak, even if it was manually entering the window size in the options menu or something, a kind of “set and forget”.
