I took this a few years back and I have never been quite satisfied with my processing of it mostly because I really don’t understand digital processing very well. I really want the leaf to stand out. Any thoughts would be appreciated!
@Terry , cool crop! I wold never have done that but I really like it! @gwbarn, I will be studying your history closely as you got pretty close to what I was after. @Zbyma72age - just beautiful! @Anthony_Reimche - I’ve never done a lot of vignetting but I’ll surely start now!
Thankyou, I think colour calibration is the first key as it pushes the main leaf’s colour far enough away from that prominent one on the right. Then there’s the masked DorS for sharpness. The scene lighting was such that AgX took care of the global contrast quite well, I didn’t try to add more localised changes.
Wacky I might be; still maybe the seamless texture could be of some use to someone. I squared it up and then Tile-able Rotated it for a possibly more appealing texture.
@Popanz, yeah I get that. It was an overcast sort of gloomy day as I recall and that part of my backyard is generally in deep shade normally. I think the more somber interpretations are probably more correct but I do like the warmer look as well.
