Is it possible to enlarge the canvas size in the darktable without stretching the image? For example from 1024x768px to 1024x1024px and filling additional pixels with color (or alpha)? I know I can do it in gimp, but doing such a task directly in darktable would be much more convenient.
I don’t believe this is possible.
Welcome @Yoda_Rafalski to the forum! I suppose you can add a large frame of required color, export the image and then edit that by using the crop tool to cut it to your required size. Will that do?
