[SOLVED] Lumix S5M2 (S5 mk II) .rw2 cannot be processed

I’ll be receiving my Lumix S5M2 very soon, so I tried processing some .rw2 sample files. Both resulted in purplish white noise images.

I used the most recent Raw Therapee, and the files were successfully processed.

I would much prefer to continue to use ART, as my other raw processing (Canon cr2, cr3) has been on ART. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

I’m running ART / Raw Therapee on Arch Linux.

I just tested quickly on an example from dpreview and everything seems to work here. Are you building ART yourself? If so, did you try with the “official” linux binary?

I’ve built using the AUR package on Arch. I’ll try the official binary. Thanks.

UPDATE - the -bin (pre-built) version in Arch AUR repository work. Thanks again agriggio!! (How do I mark this as “Solved”?)

I have had exactly this camera for almost a year. Before I bought it, Alberto “did” something in ART so that these RW2s could be processed. Since then, everything has been running smoothly with ART and the Panasonic S5M2.
