[Solved] No openGL preview anymore?

Since a few weeks ago, I lost the capability to use the OpenGL preview in Hugin (button greyed out), both in the version provided by my distro (Manjaro) and the AppImage.
Any idea why? The OpenGL preview is quite convenient for better interactive control and I’d like to use it again.

I got a good tip, to read a section of the Hugin FAQ that I didn’t think was relevant for my issue: the “Simple user interface”. When you start Hugin while pressing the Ctrl key, you get a message asking if you want “OpenGL powered fast preview window” to be disabled. I pressed “No”, and it re-enabled the OpenGL preview.
