Hi all,
Had some issues with my PC so I had to reinstall from scratch, once restored, reinstalled RT & Gimp, both from flatpack but I don’t know why, now I’m not anymore able to invoke Gimp from the editor button.
Had the same version of both application on the previous setup and without doing anything export was fine.
The “General/External Editor” section under Preferences tab is completely empty and I do not have anymore access to the old configuration, anyone with an eventually working setup can take a look?
I’m on Archlinux/RT5.11/Gimp2.10
Suggestions accepted also.
Have you enabled the necessary permissions for the flatpaks? You can use an app like Flatseal.

I’m not sure if this will work with the Flatpak version, but you can try adding GIMP by clicking the + button followed by the Change Application button.
If GIMP is not listed, then you can try manually setting the command to gimp
.
Here’s how my settings look like. The first entry was added using the Change Application button method. The last one was by manually editing the command (and name). Both options successfully launch GIMP for me, but my GIMP and RawTherapee are native, not Flatpaks.

Solution is quite easy,
create an alias:
alias gimp=“/usr/bin/flatpak run org.gimp.GIMP”
then configure it in RT preferences:
That’s it!
Thanks for the suggestions, these drive me to the solution.
Have a good light.
