Slightly off-topic, @lightlover, could you tell where this photo has been taken? Many years ago, I have been quite familiar wit the Adriatic sea, and this brings up memories.

(Such clouds look quite different from the coast than or from a tiny sailing boat.)

Taking the clouds to be the subject, inverse tone curve and conversion to B&W:

I too took the clouds to be the subject so tried not to burn them out with too much contrast/brightness.
For a change I used a little saturation especially on the greens and reds (in gimp) Colour temperature, sharpened and denoised.
