Some Wild Flowers

Here’s one of my favourite shots from last year.

Taken on an old Sony α230 with a CCD sensor at 800 iso. I’d love to see your edits and how you tackle the noise.

GIMP.
I have tried to emphasise the sunlit part of the scene.

I didn’t try to get too technical, I just did what pleases me. :slightly_smiling_face:

I used detail and parametric masks to restrict sharpening and denoising. I also used lens deblur on the main group of flowers which would increase the noise there locally.

Crop and de-empathized the background. Also pushed the colors of the flowers a bit.

My version with agx-emulsion. Experimenting and hacking with large gamut spectral upsampling from hanatos. Data from Kodak Gold 200 and Endura Premier, everything default except +6M filter, 1.5 print exposure, +1 stop.
Exported from darktable in linear rec2020. _DSC0913.ARW.xmp (7.6 KB)
