Just stumbled upon this amazing project from YouTube (Eternally Drifting channel), and been playing around with it in Davinci Resolve for the last 12 hours. I’m using the 0.1.9 version for Windows.
I noticed there were some missing features that were listed in the manual, such as Gamma and Printer Lights RGB controls. For the Printer Lights features, i have read that you need to have the licensed .csv file for it to work, and truthfully i have no idea how to make this work even if i have the .csv file (i have 0 background in coding😂, if anyone can show me how to, please enlighten me). As for the Gamma feature, i’m wondering, why was it removed?
Gamma is in the dev version of the plugin. Because it’s not really a physical control, I removed it from the normal versions. The push and pull sliders achieve a similar effect but in a way more visually pleasing way, that doesn’t break as fast at higher values.
And the printer lights situation is a bit frustrating right now. I have contacted the SMPTE foundation repeatedly to try and get them to agree to let me use the spreadsheets in the compiled release, but they have not yet responded. It’s a really neat feature but is legally sketchy to release at this time. I can update you on the matter if a release ever gets to use the feature
